About Stride Football
Why this exists
Trying to figure out where your kid plays football in Australia means stitching together Football NSW, PlayFootball, half a dozen club Facebook pages, and word-of-mouth. The information is scattered, often outdated, and rarely written for parents. Stride Football brings it into one trustworthy place — verified clubs, real trial dates, and plain-English pathway explainers.
What we cover
- Every NSW NPL, League One, League Two, NPL Women's, JDL-licensed and grassroots community club we can verify
- Major IFA and SPL academies, branded international academies, and specialist (girls, goalkeeper, futsal) programs
- Plain-English guides to the youth football pathway — community, JDL, NPL, school, academy, and futsal routes
- Verified trials, registration deadlines, gala days, and tournaments
What "verified" means
Every club and event entry traces back to at least one primary source — an official governing body (Football NSW, Northern NSW Football, IFA), the organisation's own website, or a published competition listing. We don't list what we can't source. Where information conflicts, we say so. Where we're unsure, we flag rather than guess.
We're independent
Stride Football is not affiliated with any governing body, club, or league. Listings are free and editorial — we don't accept payment to include or promote organisations. If that ever changes, we'll be transparent about it on this page.
Help us improve
Spotted something wrong? Got a club we should list, or a trial that should be on the events page? Use the add or correct a listing form, the submit an event form, or get in touch. Parent and club feedback is the most reliable signal we have.
