About this event

Macarthur Football Association''s 3v3 GameChangers Series is a festival of football for teams across the Macarthur region, using the FUNino methodology — 3v3 on a 25m x 25m pitch with four mini goals, two per team. The small pitch and extra goals are deliberate: everyone gets far more touches, more decisions and more goals than in a normal game. Tuesday 6 October is the U5–U7 day. The mixed (ADP) session runs in the morning and the girls-only (GAP) session in the afternoon. Entry is $30 per player and you sign up as a team, not as an individual — a Team Manager registers the squad, with 3–5 players recommended. This is a participation festival rather than a competition, so it suits any level.

Who it suits

Young players in their first years of football, and parents who want a low-pressure games day rather than a competitive tournament. The 3v3 format is much less intimidating than a full-sized game, and girls have their own afternoon session if a mixed game feels like too much.

Before you register

  • Team registrations close by close of business Monday 28 September — enter before then.
  • You enter as a team, not as an individual player — a Team Manager signs the squad up, with 3–5 players recommended. If you do not have a team, ask your club or the association whether they can place your child.
  • Mixed teams play in the morning and girls-only in the afternoon. Check which session you are registering for.
  • The $30 fee includes a minimum of three games.
  • Exact session start times are not published — confirm with the association before the day.
