Blacktown City FC is trialling for its 2027 Under 9 Mixed Junior Development League squad on Thursday 10 September 2026, 5:00pm to 6:30pm, at The Ponds Stadium, The Ponds. Players should arrive at 4:30pm — half an hour before the session — and bring shin pads and a water bottle. This is for players born in 2018 (Under 9 in 2027). The club takes 2027 registrations through its online registration system, and for this trial it also asks you to email Mark Bridge at mark.bridge@blacktowncityfc.com.au. Do both: register through the form, and email so the club knows to expect your child on the night. Two other things the club has open at the moment: a Girls Youth League expression of interest for Under 14 and Under 15 players, and a search for a single Under 10 JDL goalkeeper for 2027. Both are also handled by email in the club's posts.
Who it suits
Western Sydney families with a child born in 2018 looking at a selective junior pathway, and goalkeepers' families who should also read the note at the end.
