East Coast Soccer Academy is trialling for its 2026 Summer IFA squads, with a separate Friday for each age group. The U9 session is Friday 21 August 2026, 4:00pm to 5:00pm, at Football Hub in Umina. The academy describes these trials as being for **advanced players only**. That is its own wording, and it is worth taking at face value before making the trip. Registration is required. The academy states that trialists must be registered beforehand, through its "ECSA - IFA Summer EOI" form — you cannot simply turn up. The form also notes that if you cannot make the scheduled time you should message the academy directly. What the squad plays: selected players represent East Coast Soccer Academy in the Independent Football Australia (IFA) competition, played at the Western Sydney Wanderers training facility in Sydney. The academy's form says the summer competition runs from October to November 2026, and that players can keep playing for their local club at the same time. The other age-group sessions are Friday 28 August for U10 and Friday 4 September for U11 and U12, all at the same time and venue. No trial fee or squad fee is published anywhere we can see. IFA is a separate competition structure from Football NSW, so this is not a Football NSW representative pathway.
