Forest Killarney FC runs summer soccer on the all-weather synthetic fields at Melwood Oval, Forestville, on Monday and Friday evenings. It runs in two blocks either side of the summer holidays: - Mondays — 12 October to 14 December 2026, resuming 1 February to 1 March 2027 - Fridays — 16 October to 11 December 2026, resuming 29 January to 5 March 2027 That makes it one of the few local competitions that carries on into the new school year rather than finishing in December. It is open to all ages from Under 6 to over-35s, boys/mixed, girls, men and women, at any level of experience. Individual players register through the club's form; the club does not publish a fee on its summer page, so ask before committing.
Who it suits
Northern Beaches families who want summer football that continues into February and March, and players happy to register as individuals rather than bring a team.
