About this event
The Horizon Football Festival is a four-day junior tournament hosted by Manly United FC at Cromer Park on Sydney's Northern Beaches (about 30 minutes from the CBD). Teams from clubs and academies across Australia — and internationally — play a minimum of 10 matches over two days on full synthetic pitches, so games go ahead rain or shine. Every match is 7-a-side and 18 minutes with no half-time. Day one is a full group stage; day two splits teams into Gold, Silver and Bronze finals groups based on how they placed. The festival runs across two two-day blocks by age: U9, U10 mixed and U10/U11 girls on 2–3 October, then U11, U12 mixed and U12/U13 girls on 4–5 October. Each age group is capped at 18 teams, allocated first-come, first-served.
Who it suits
Club, academy and independent teams in age groups U9–U13 — including dedicated girls divisions — after a high-volume, development-focused tournament with a guaranteed minimum of 10 matches.
