About this event

The Intra Cup is a five-a-side youth tournament run by INTRA Football Academy at the Calabria Club, Manly Vale. The Under 8 and Under 10 divisions play across Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 October 2026, 8:00am to 3:00pm each day. How it works: squads of 6 to 9 players, 20-minute matches in 30-minute blocks, up to nine games across a round robin and finals. There are Cup and Plate finals, so every team plays through to a placing rather than being knocked out early. Divisions are mixed. Age groups are set by birth year — Under 8 is born 2018 or later, Under 10 born 2016 or later. Entry is by team, not by individual player, and an adult coach or manager registers the squad. It is open to club teams, academy teams, school teams and groups of friends, so you do not need to be attached to a club to enter — a parent can put a side together. It costs $175 a player. Registrations close when divisions fill. The Under 12 and Under 14 divisions play later the same week, on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 October.

Who it suits

Northern Beaches parents or coaches who can pull together a squad of 6 to 9 players in Under 8 or Under 10 — including friend groups outside a club — and want two full days of competitive five-a-side in the holidays.

Before you register

  • Team entry only — an adult has to register the squad, there is no individual sign-up
  • You need 6 to 9 players; friend-group teams are welcome
  • Ages go by birth year: U8 is born 2018 or later, U10 born 2016 or later
  • Full days, 8:00am to 3:00pm, across both days
  • Divisions close once they fill rather than on a fixed date, so do not leave it
  • The academy also runs a holiday camp at Beacon Hill Oval on overlapping days — check which one you are booking
