About this event

The Nepean FA Gala Day is a single-day, non-competitive festival of football held on the middle Saturday of the July school holidays — Saturday 11 July 2026. Teams from across Nepean Football Association meet at five host venues split by age group: U5–U7 play at St Marys (Gipps St), U8–U9 at Wentworth Falls (Pitt Park), U10–U12 at Jordan Springs Village Oval, Colo at Cougar Park, and Girls of all ages at Bligh Park (Berger Road). Draws are generated through Dribl to mix teams up and prioritise participation over results. The gala day is open to registered players and teams from the Nepean FA winter season — and you can field a combined team with players from across your club as long as everyone fits the age band. Teams enter via their club; nominations are open from 22 May and close on 23 June 2026.

Who it suits

Suited to U5–U12 players already registered in a Nepean FA winter season club team — including kids who'd like to play with friends from other teams at their club. Best for families in the Penrith / Blue Mountains corridor; pick the venue assigned to your age group.

Before you register

  • Tell your club's team manager you'd like to enter — gala day nominations close on 23 June 2026.
  • Check which of the five venues your age group plays at (each band has its own host club).
  • Confirm whether your team is making up combined sides — Nepean FA allows mixing players from different teams at the same club, subject to age.
  • If you have a girls team, note the dedicated Girls day venue is Bligh Park (Berger Road) rather than the age-band split.

Independent listing — Stride Football is not affiliated with Nepean Football Association. Confirm details with the organiser before registering.
