About this event

The Proctor Park Challenge is the girls pre-season tournament at Proctor Park, Bathurst, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2027 — the girls counterpart to the Bathurst Cup a week earlier. This is a team event: clubs and representative teams enter, not individual players. Age groups are Under 12, Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16 and Under 18 girls. Football NSW says Girls JDL, Girls Youth League, association representative and association club teams may all take part, so it is not restricted to the selective competitions. Entry is $550 a team through Bathurst Football's online shop, closing Monday 30 November 2026 unless it fills first, with payment due within three days of nominating. Bathurst is about three hours west of Sydney, so for most metropolitan teams this is an overnight trip across the weekend.

Who it suits

Clubs and representative teams with Under 12 to Under 18 girls squads wanting competitive pre-season football, including community club teams rather than only JDL and Youth League sides.

Before you register

  • This is a team entry — ask your club or coach whether they are nominating
  • Entries close 30 November 2026, or earlier if it fills
  • Association club teams can enter, not just Girls JDL and Girls Youth League squads
  • The $550 team fee is due within three days of nominating
  • Two days in Bathurst, roughly three hours from Sydney — plan accommodation
