South Coast Flame FC holds trials for its 2027 Mixed Junior Development League squads at Ian McLennan Park, Kembla Grange. Round 1 — Sunday 6 September 2026, open to all who have registered - Under 9 and Under 10: 9:00am to 10:30am (arrive 8:30am) - Under 11 and Under 12: 10:45am to 12:15pm (arrive 9:45am) Round 2 — Tuesday 8 September, by invitation only - Under 9 and Under 10: 4:15pm to 5:45pm (arrive 4:00pm) - Under 11 and Under 12: 6:00pm to 7:30pm (arrive 5:45pm) Round 3 — Thursday 10 September, by invitation only and only if the club needs it, at the same times as round 2. Submit the club's expression of interest form before round 1 — it is the same form for both the Mixed and Girls JDL squads, so choose the right stream when you fill it in. The club's Girls JDL squads trial at the same ground on the same days, in a separate earlier session. Boys Youth League and Girls Youth League trials run later, from 28 September. No trial fee or season fee is published.

Players aged Under 9 to Under 12 in the Illawarra who want a selective junior development pathway with South Coast Flame for 2027.
Before you register
- Submit the expression of interest form before round 1 — round 1 is not a turn-up-and-play session
- Arrive at the time the club asks for, which is 30 to 60 minutes before your session starts
- Rounds 2 and 3 are by invitation only, so check whether your child has been invited
- Ask the club about trial and season fees — none are published
