About this event

Sydney FC Summer 6s is a 6-a-side summer competition run by Sydney FC in partnership with Eastern Suburbs Football Association, played under lights at Coral Sea Park, Maroubra. It runs from the week of 12 October to the week of 14 December 2026 — matches are on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, so those dates are the first and last weeks rather than exact match days. The two nights are different competitions, which matters when you pick one: - Tuesday — Girls U8s to U16s, plus Women's Divisions 1–2 and Men Over 45 - Wednesday — Mixed U8s to U16s, plus Men's Divisions 1–2 Age groups run in two-year brackets (U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s), so a U9 player competes in the U10s and a U11 in the U12s. Entry is as a team, not as an individual: junior registration is $140 per player with a minimum of 6 per team, and senior registration is $150 per player with a minimum of 8. It is pitched as a social, bragging-rights competition rather than a development pathway, with prizes and Sydney FC extras through the season.

Before you register

• Pick the right night: girls play Tuesday, mixed plays Wednesday. They are separate competitions, not one draw.
• You need a team, not just a player — minimum 6 for juniors and 8 for seniors. If you do not have a squad, ask the organisers whether they can place your child in an existing team.
• ESFA notes that all grades, ages and dates depend on final team numbers, so a division may not run if too few teams enter. Confirm your age group is going ahead before counting on it.
• There are two registration routes: team managers register the squad through the Sydney FC page, while individual players register via ESFA's Dribl link. Check which one applies to you.
• The published dates are the first and last WEEKS (week of 12 Oct to week of 14 Dec) — your actual match night depends on the draw.
• No registration closing date has been published. Register early, since places depend on team numbers.
