Sydney International Cup 2026 — SIC7 is the 7v7 stream of the Sydney International Cup, run at Sydney Academy of Sport at Narrabeen across Friday 2 to Monday 5 October 2026. SIC describes itself as Australia's premier end-of-season invitation-only tournament, drawing local, interstate and international club teams to the Northern Beaches for the October long weekend. SIC7 covers U8, U9, U10, U11, U12 and U13 boys' age groups plus U10/11 and U12/13 girls' age groups, with a U13 mixed bracket also offered. Squads are capped at 10 players with 2 officials; limited dispensation is available for overage players in the SIC7 stream only. Teams typically stay on-site at the Academy in dormitory, cabin or motel-style accommodation packaged with meals and access to training pitches.
Who it suits
Best for U8–U13 club squads with strong technical level — usually NPL, JDL, MSAP or comparable interstate / international clubs. Suited to families prepared for a four-day, on-site residential experience over the long weekend. The cup is invitation-only and not open to walk-up grassroots teams.
Before you register
- Confirm your club has been invited or approach SIC for an invitation before applying to enter.
- Check the squad cap (10 + 2 officials) and the overage dispensation rules if you have a player playing up.
- Confirm girls' brackets (U10/11 and U12/13) match your team's age — SIC groups two years per bracket on the girls' side.
- Decide whether to book the on-site accommodation and meals package — pitches, dining and laundry are included, but linen is a separate add-on.
