About this event
The WSW Schools Cup, presented by Bathla, is Western Sydney Wanderers' community 5-a-side schools competition for primary and secondary schools, hosted at the new Wanderers Fives Facility at Wanderers Football Park in Rooty Hill. Schools enter teams (up to two per division) into a preliminary round-robin, with the top teams progressing to a Finals day. In 2026 the Primary season (Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Boys and Girls divisions) runs across five Mondays and Wednesdays in August — 3, 5, 12, 17 and 19 August — with the Primary Final on Wednesday 9 September. The Secondary season (Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 Boys and Girls) ran across late May and June with the Secondary Final on Wednesday 29 July. Entry is $100 per team and invoiced direct to the school. Withdrawals within two weeks of an event date are still invoiced.
Who it suits
For Western Sydney primary and secondary schools wanting to enter teams into a competitive but community-spirited 5v5 competition. Suited to schools whose sport coordinator or PE department can manage team logistics — students play via their school, not as individuals.
Before you register
- Schools enter — not families. Check with your school's sport coordinator whether your school is entering teams for 2026.
- Each school may enter up to two teams per division (e.g. two Year 3/4 Boys teams).
- Confirm which date your school is registered for — Primary plays five Aug dates + 9 Sep Final; Secondary already in finals stage by July.
- Note WSW's withdrawal policy: schools withdrawing within two weeks of their event are still invoiced the $100 per team entry.
