Visit websiteFootball Development Australia (FdA) is one of Sydney's longest-running independent football academies, based at Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush. It runs a year-round youth academy for U12–U18 players, with a particular focus on teenagers who miss out on — or aren't retained in — the NPL (National Premier Leagues) system. Selected players join squads that train through a summer pre-season and compete in winter club competitions, the NSW State Cup and national tournaments in Queensland and Victoria, plus annual tournaments and training camps in Germany. FdA also helps school-leavers pursue semi-professional and trial opportunities in Ireland and Germany after the HSC, and offers one-on-one private coaching alongside the squad program.
