Southern Phoenix FC is a representative youth development club based at South Nowra Football Grounds, serving southern New South Wales. It was formed by merging Southern Branch Football (boys) with South East Phoenix FC (girls), and describes itself as the official southern NSW representative football club. Unlike a local grassroots club, it fields selective squads in Football NSW competitions — Junior Development League (mixed and girls), Boys Youth League Division 3 and Girls Youth League Division 2 — so entry is by expression of interest and trial rather than open registration. The club tells us it draws players from a wide area: Wollongong in the north, down the coast as far as Narooma, and inland to Goulburn. If you are outside the Shoalhaven, it is worth asking about travel and training expectations before committing, since squads train at South Nowra.
