A-League pre-academy

The Jets Pre-Academy runs in school-term blocks with entry decided by a trial and assessment in the first weeks of term — the 2026 (Term 1) intake has passed and no 2026/27 or 2027 registration has been published yet.
A-League academies
The professional club academies. Most select by scouting rather than open trials — the notes explain each club's route in.

Hunter Valley Football Association is taking expressions of interest for its Hunter Hawks Player Development Program, for Under 12 to Under 16 players. Applications close at 9:00am on Friday 28 August 2026, and you must apply to be invited to trial — there is no open trial to attend. The program runs from October 2026 to September 2027, and players selected are eligible to represent Hunter Valley Football at the 2027 Community State Youth Championships. An annual fee applies but the amount is not published, so ask before you commit.
